As part of Guru Gopinath’s birth anniversary, the Guru Gopinath Dance and Cultural centre situated in Vattiyyorkavu kicks off a seven – day dance-drama festival. Odyssey dancer Dr. Aruna Mohanty was honored at the inauguration ceremony.
On the first day, Gopika Varma and his team performed a mohiniyattam dance-drama based on Sugathakumari’s poem ‘Radha Evide’ and Jnanappana Bharatanatyam was performed by actors Vineet and Lakshmi Gopalaswamy.
