ആഴ്ചാവസാനത്തെ ഒരു ഒഴിവുദിനം. ഇന്നെങ്ങോട്ടെങ്കിലും ഒരു ചെറിയ യാത്ര പോകണമെന്ന് ആഴ്ചയുടെ തുടക്കത്തില്‍ തന്നെ ആഗ്രഹിച്ചിരുന്നു. പോകേണ്ട സ്ഥലങ്ങളെ കുറിച്ച് ആലോചിച്ചപ്പോള്‍ രണ്ടു ചിന്തകളാണ് മനസിലുണ്ടായത്. ഒന്ന് തമിഴ്‌നാട് മാര്‍ത്താണ്ഡത്തിനടുത്തുള്ള ചിതറാല്‍ (ജൈനക്ഷേത്രം), രണ്ട് പൊന്മുടി. ഈ രണ്ട് സ്ഥലങ്ങളിലും മുന്‍പ് ഞാന്‍ പോയിട്ടുണ്ടെങ്കിലും ഇപ്പോള്‍ വീണ്ടും പോകണമെന്ന് തോന്നി. യാത്ര ബൈക്കിലായതു കൊണ്ട് പുലര്‍കാലത്തെ സവാരിയാണ് ഞാന്‍ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തത്. നാല് മണിക്കു തന്നെ അലാറം വച്ച് എഴുന്നേറ്റു. അഞ്ചു
