The third edition of the National Folk Festival organized by the Kerala State Youth Welfare Board is held from February 24 to 26 at the Tagore Theater and Manaveeyam Veedhi.
Apart from folk arts from Delhi, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Orissa, Bengal and Karnataka, festivals from Kerala will be held this evening.
India’s oldest Fakir singer Mansoor Fakir is also present in the meet. Purulia Chow from Orissa-Bengal border, Dulua Kunaita from Karnataka and Dantaya Ras from Gujarat also participating this year.
The street singer Babu Sankaran from Kozhikode will be with his songs.
